THE PATRON OF THE SCHOOL

St. Eugene De Mazenod was born on 1″ August 1782 in France. He was from very aristocratic family. At school he was a hardworking and brilliant student.
Later he became a Catholic Priest, Bishop and the Founder of worldwide religious community called Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate (OMI). However, a deep spiritual experience at Good Friday ceremony in 1807 changed his life dramatically.
He loved the poor and sacrificed his whole life to serve them through various ministries, like education, youth- counseling etc. He was most loved by the poor, down trodden and youth of the society. He was a disciplined spiritual leader and educationist for them. Thus he was a true Father of the poor, eventually a saint for the whole world. The school Celebrates the Patron’s day on 1″ August.
